Process requirements of the sector
Powder coating is the standard solution in this sector: recovery rates are high, there are no solvent emissions, and the required film thickness is achieved in a single layer.
Colour change is the most critical operating item on the line. The changeover time and the production time lost during it usually justify investment in a fast colour-change booth within a short period.
Automatic feed and hanger systems remove operator dependency at high line speeds. Hanger design is arranged so that the contact mark falls on a non-visible surface.
